Kalimpong

Kalimpong is a hill station in the Lesser Himalaya in the state of West Bengal. It is a part of Darjeeling district. Kalimpong is well known for its many educational institutions, which attract students from all over North East India, West Bengal, Bhutan, Nepal, and Bangladesh. Some of the famous education institutes are Dr. Graham's Homes (Co-ed), St. Augustine School (only for boys), St. Joseph Convent (for girls only), Rockvale Academy (Co-ed). In recent times, Kalimpong has become an important tourist hub for its climate and proximity to popular tourist locations in the region. All major towns of the hill region like Siliguri, Darjeeling, Gangtok, Pelling are almost at an equal distance of approximately 2.5 to 3 hours from Kalimpong.
